December Newsletter 2019 has seen a lot of changes here at AllSafe. We are now under new ownership and management. Although I have been a silent partner in AllSafe since its founding in 2000, I have not been active in the day to day business. Don Williams has managed the company until a few months ago when I bought out his interest. You may still see him from time to time as he does some sales and consulting work for us, but for the most part he is retired and enjoying traveling.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been in the security business 43 years. I originally 'cut my teeth' in the security business by starting a company in Greenville and Memphis called Infipro in 1976. In 1986 I founded SentryNet, which is the company your alarm is monitored by. SentryNet is based in Memphis and we monitored for over 700 companies like AllSafe, in all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. In 2015 I sold SentryNet to Stanley Black & Decker and retired from them a year later. Earlier this year it was decided that I would take over AllSafe and become more active in the business.
You may have noticed some personnel changes. We brought over several employees from SentryNet: Cindy Williams has been with me 20 years and is now our Gulfport Service Manager. Irene Horton, our Controller, has been with me for 10 years. We are fortunate that Alain Jamet decided to join us as well. He was Vice-President at SentryNet for 9 years and before that he was with ADT for 20 years. Alain has a wealth of knowledge within the security industry, and he is responsible for day to day management of AllSafe.
We are very fortunate that Matthew Williams, who is Don's son, and has been at AllSafe for 12 years has decided to stay with us. Matt is brilliant when it comes to home automation, fire and burglar systems and he will be at the forefront in taking us to the next level.
In the office we have a great crew with Tiffany, who also comes from SentryNet, along with Angelia, Mary and Brooke. In Service we have David, Eli, Steve and Rod along with Rusty, Rick and Wayne in sales. This is our core group and we look forward to building our team.
You will continue to see changes as we go forward. If you have passed our building at 2620 25th Avenue, you will notice we have completely remodeled our building inside and out. We are very proud of it! Please stop by and have a look. In fact, we are having a grand opening January 17th. Please mark your calendar and come join us. We would love to see you!
We are also rebranding our business and you may have noticed our new logo. We simplified it and wanted to focus on what we do: Keeping you and your family safe. We are also updating our automation systems to become more efficient and offer new services, such as e-billing and accepting payments online.
Most of all, the biggest change that we are implementing is our re-focus on customer service. You are our greatest asset! We realize the only way we can stay in business is because you allow us to serve you.Our goal is exceptional customer service. If we fail to provide this, I want to hear from you personally. Alain also wants to hear from you. Please continue to give us the opportunity to earn your business. Our success is dependent on your satisfaction. Remember, we are only a phone call away!
